Wellpinit July 18, 2015

Warren Seyler: Department of Natural Resources

From Oregon to Spokane and now in Wellpinit. In the middle of nowhere with very little service, I must say it's been quite the ride! There were no presentations to listen to or note taking but nonetheless there is still much to say.

As we're arriving to camp, like usual, we're to set everything up. Thinking it was going to be like every other day, with such surprise, we were taken to Tuttle lake where we were able to swim and sun bathe. It was too much of a perfect day to even think about leaving the lake, but like all other great things, the short visit came to an end!

Once everyone gathered together, we headed to camp to get computers, phones, and laundry. We were given access to the only high school do our laundry and blog. Luckily, I was up-to-date with each and every blog. I was rewarded with having to go back to camp and make dinner for all 16 people. Wondering what in the world would happen to my laundry, someone was kind enough to wash and fold all of dirty clothes!

As I was finishing making dinner, exhaustion hit me. Realizing I had not yet showered, I was sent back to the high school to retrieve all of my clothes and get a quick shower. Still, there were a few students quite not finished, but it was very well over dinner time.

We played, we worked, we ate! From the time we arrived, no time was wasted. It was a very productive day! By the end of the night, not even the howling wolves were able to wake us!
